What is the difference between kinematics and kinetics?
Kinematics ("Cinema"=movement) - Study of dynamic function that deals with the geometry of the motion of bodies WITHOUT taking into account the forces that produce the motion.
Kinetics (kinetic energy) - The study of the relationship between a force acting upon a body or body segment and the changes produced in body motion.
